Bus trip to Linz and plant tour for NETZSCH trainees
O despertador tocou às 6h30 da manhã ensolarada de quinta-feira. Mesmo quando nos levantamos, nossa expectativa era enorme - finalmente, havia chegado a hora da excursão anual dos trainees. Como já estávamos em nosso segundo ano de treinamento como assistentes de gerenciamento industrial, essa também era nossa segunda excursão de trainee. Portanto, ao contrário dos novos trainees, nem tudo era totalmente novo para nós. No caminho para o ponto de encontro, às 8 horas, mal podíamos esperar para entrar no ônibus e começar a trabalhar com "Fredl", nosso motorista. Quando chegamos a Waldkraiburg, rapidamente guardamos nossas bagagens no ônibus e nos acomodamos.
Três horas depois, chegamos ao nosso primeiro destino, a Voestalpine, em Linz, na Áustria. Animados com o que nos esperava, começamos a visita à fábrica de ônibus - não dá para imaginar o tamanho do local, realmente impressionante. O primeiro destaque foi o "gigante quente", como é carinhosamente chamado o maior alto-forno da fábrica de Linz. No showroom, vimos o alto-forno por dentro e assistimos a uma batida do aço ao vivo. Foi uma sensação indescritível ver as muitas faíscas brilhantes voando do forno quente de 2200 °C. Outro destaque foi o museu, onde tivemos uma visão da história e informações gerais sobre a empresa.
Winnetou show and dinner at the Western theme park
A few hours after we arrived in Linz, we were already on our way to Pullman City, where we were to experience a few more adventures and spend the night. After arriving, we all settled into our wooden houses at the Western theme park. At 6 pm, we went to an exciting and funny Winnetou show, which no one wanted to miss. After the show, we had dinner in the saloon at 8.15 pm, where we enjoyed a delicious buffet together and experienced countless funny moments. Details will, of course, not be revealed - just like the motto, what happens in Pullman City stays in Pullman City. At the end of the first day, we all made a campfire with our trainers and let the evening draw to a close with chilled drinks.
Pullman City by day and the trip home to Waldkraiburg
After a short night, we all went to the breakfast buffet in the saloon at 8:30 am. Afterwards, we had leisure time until the guided tour through the Western village began. Next, most of us went to lunch, where the trainer of industrial mechanics, Maximilian Huber, was arrested by the sheriff in the centre of Pullman City. We still can't explain how this could have happened. Luckily, though, he was released in time for our departure. Unfortunately, at 3 pm, the time had come to travel back home to Waldkraiburg. After leaving by bus, everyone was exhausted from two eventful days. Most of us quickly closed our eyes and dreamed of a wild night at the Western theme park - so driving home went by in a blink of an eye, and the apprentice excursion 2023 drew to a close.
