Introducing the TORNADO® T1 XXLB-F rotary lobe pump, NETZSCH has set another milestone in pumping demanding media. Developed for challenging applications such as sewage pumping stations, MBR filtration, wellpoint dewatering or the processing of viscous products in the food industry, such as magma or molasses, the new size combines proven rotary lobe pump technology with even more pumping capacity. The XXLB-F allows you to achieve higher pressures and larger flow rates, making it a powerful alternative to centrifugal pumps. Compared to centrifugal pumps, the largest size of the NETZSCH rotary lobe pump is characterised by its almost pressure-independent pumping characteristics. It delivers a consistent flow even at changing operating pressures. The XXLB-F shows its strengths when pumping thick, highly viscous or solids-laden liquids. However, it also offers numerous advantages when pumping sensitive liquids, as the medium is prevented from heavy turbulence due to the pumping mechanism, which prevents damage to the components.

The low operating speed reduces wear and increases the pump's service life. In addition, the new size is completely self-priming.
